Courtside at Southern Woods followed in the 2000s, with mostly all-brick homes of about 2,500 to 4,700 square feet and 3 to 5 bedrooms on lots of about a quarter to a third of an acre, on streets like Red Oak Drive, Sweetwater Drive, Buckhead Court, and South Timber Drive.

Courtside, Shadow Creek, and South Springs share the Southern Woods West homeowners association, which maintains pools, a tennis court, and a park with a playground and hosts neighborhood events through the year.
