What Monticello Is Like

Monticello was built in sections over several decades, with most homes dating from the late 1960s into the 1990s. Homes are mainly ranches and all-brick traditional designs, generally about 2,200 to 3,300 square feet with 3 to 5 bedrooms, and some larger custom homes reach 4,000 to 5,000 square feet. Lots are larger than in many newer Franklin neighborhoods, typically about a third to two-thirds of an acre.
