What Avalon Is Like

Avalon has two distinct parts. The Meade of Avalon, built mostly from about 2006 to 2012, has townhomes and detached homes of roughly 2,500 to 3,900 square feet in brick, stone, and fiber cement. The estate sections have custom homes of about 4,000 to more than 14,000 square feet on lots from about one acre to more than eight acres. Bedrooms range from 3 to 7. Streets carry names from Arthurian legend, including Road of the Round Table, King Arthur Circle, Excalibur Court, Lionheart Court, Canterbury Rise, and Pennystone Circle.

The community is gated and has a clubhouse, pool, playground, park, walking trails, sidewalks, and a clocktower. Smith Park is within walking distance of the Pennystone Circle end of the neighborhood, and Cool Springs Galleria, Mallory Lane, and I-65 are a few minutes away.
